Why is it that Koreans have become so obsessed with golf? It’s not that I don’t understand the attraction of the game, I play golf myself, it’s that when I go to any public golf course in Southern California there are so many Koreans there that I wonder if there is anyone left in Seoul. It wasn’t always that way, it is only in the last 10 years or so that Koreans seem to become obsessed with golf. How did this happen? And why have the Korean women become so much more successful at the professional level than the men? Did this happen spontaneously or did you all get together and decide to take over the sport?
