I am an American born Turkish American adult. My parents met and married in Izmir, Turkey when my father was stationed at NATO as an Army Officer. My question is this: How many Turkish American children / adults find themselves living on the ‘fine line’ of their cultural heritage? For example, what faith do you follow? How do you relate to native Turks and native Americans through inter-marriage? Blended families? What do you think about terrorism regarding the impact muslims have in the United States and world-wide?
