TiffanyParticipantI am a white female that happens to have her tounge pierced. Why when people find out that I have this part of my body pierced is it generally assumed that it is for one reason only? Now I do admit that all of the partners I have been with all say that the piercing really adds something to it, this is not the only reason for the piercing. Can ya’ll please explain.

ShirleyAveryParticipantWhy did you get your tongue pierced? As opposed to multiple ear piercings or something less weird? Seriously, I want to know. The people i know with pierced tongues seem to talk with a slight speech impediment, plus it seems unsanitary. Eyebrow piercings look weird to me too, but I’m middle aged and each generation has its own style. Just Curious
