Andrew19447ParticipantWhy are gay people gay? And why do they like anal sex and fisting?

JohnParticipant(1) No one knows why gay people are gay, but most of us feel it is some combination of genetics and prenatal delvelopment, and that we have no choice in the matter.
(2) Anal sex is practiced by gays and straights, and there are gay people who do not do it.
(3) Fisting (entire hands inserted into the rectum or vagina) is a fairly uncommon practice mostly associated with people (gay and straight) in the SM scene. It is again not limited to gays, and conversely, most gays don’t do it.User Detail :

ItekiMemberI am gay. I am not interested in anal sex or fisting. Some of my gay friends are. Some of my gay friends aren’t. Some of my straight friends are. Some of my straight friends aren’t. I am afraid I don’t understand the question. Presumably, people (straight or gay) enjoy certain sexual practices because they are physically pleasurable and part of an emotional closeness between themselves and their partner. Why do *you* like sex, Andrew?

MichaelParticipantWhy are straight people straight? And why do they like anal sex and fisting? (I’ve seen the magazines and web sites.)
Being gay is about more than the sexual act. It’s about your entire emotional (and sexual) resonance being with members of your own gender. As to sexual likes and dislikes, a simple check of the spam in my e-mail account shows a bewildering array of behaviors – hetero, homo and all-sorts of sexual – none of which has anything to do with anything.
When straight people focus on the ‘act,’ it’s usually part of a pattern of denigration toward the gay person. The first step is to discount the relationship as something that’s only sexual (and perverse or damaged), which knocks them down a notch on the social order, which then makes rationalizing about bashing them all the easier. It’s especially bad when someone secretly harbors a sexual response and their internalized homophobia causes a violent lashing out.

Me21882ParticipantI can’t answer why people are what they are. Why are you straight? As far as anal sex and fisting are concerned, not every gay person enjoys either of these. Being gay does not require ‘gay sex.’ Being gay is about who you are attracted to, who you have relationships with, who you love. Just as there are gay people who don’t enjoy being penetrated, there are plenty of straight women who enjoy anal sex. Sexual acts don’t define the sexual orientation.

Devon25718ParticipantSome people think it’s a choice, others think it’s genetics. I believe people are born gay. You just don’t ‘choose’ your sexual orientation. Like race, you can’t ‘choose.’ And not all of us are into fisting; that depends on the couple, or whoever. As far as anal sex goes, that’s just part of the sexual relations. It’s like when heterosexual have sex: the penis goes in a certain hole.

A.N.ParticipantAlthough theories indicate that homosexuality is inbred, no one really knows the origins of sexuality – gay, straight or bisexual. Also, not all gay people enjoy anal sex and/or fisting; however, most of us like it for the same reasons straight people like intercourse and blow jobs. It’s called sex, and it’s how we express love to our partner. And frankly, it feels good.

DavidParticipantWhy are gay people gay?? We just are – as stated in an earlier response it certainly isn’t a choice… Why are YOU straight, Andrew? Did you sit down one day and make an actual decision that you were going to be attracted to girls? Hmmmmmm.. No-one CHOOSES to be anything!!! As for ‘Why do gay people have anal sex?’ Well I think the question should be why do heterosexuals have anal sex? It may surprise you to learn that more heterosexuals do than homosexuals.. Allow me to explain. A survey was done amongst gay men which found that approximately 60% do have anal sex, 40% don’t. A quick arithmatic exercise here. The gay population is estimated to be between 5-10%. Let’s say 7.5%. Lesbians are extremely unlikely (unless I’m completely misguided!)to have anal sex, so the gay MALE population is approx 3.75%. If 60% of gay men practice anal sex, that is 2.25% of the population. So far, so good. (Have patience here!!!) Of the remaining (heterosexual) 90%, it only requires 2.5% of them to practice anal sex to match the number of gay men who do it. That’s just 1 in 40 !!!! Anyone who ever looked at an adult site on the web will see page after page of heterosexual anal sex pics and ‘girls who take it in each hole’ etc etc. Remember too, in many cultures, anal sex is used as a form of contraception. In other cultures also, where the ‘virgin bride’ is still a requirement – anal sex is the pre-marital form of intercourse that ensure the hymen is still intact on the wedding day! All in all, I’d say the heterosexuals who have anal sex far outnumber the homosexual who do! Q.E.D… Oh – and as for fisting? If anyone came near me with a clenched hand and a calving glove I’d run a mile!!

Jay31079ParticipantAnal penetration between men is actually totally redundant and pointless unless you have a special interest in it, just like with heterosexuals. Men can be perfectly happy and satisfied rubbing their dicks together just as heterosexuals can be perfectly happy and satisfied rubbing the man’s dick inside the woman’s vagina. On the other hand some men may be a little more ‘expiremental’ or ‘kinky’ and want to penetrate each other, just as a man might wish to anally penetrate his woman, or a woman might want to penetrate her man using a strap-on dildo.
