I have many acquaintances who are actors and they often seem to lovebeing the center of attention (even at the expense of everyone else in the room). Here is my question to theater people. Did you choose this profession because you love attention? If not, what motivates you? Also, since actors are often very high maintainance and attention starved, do you dislike being with other actors? I would think that vying for center stage would be difficult.
