Why do minorities in genral, specifically Hispanics and African Americans seem to not want to use the word ‘any’. They tend to replace it with no. For example ‘I don’t have no potatoes.’ Also why is ‘seen’ used in place of ‘saw’. Further why does a fifth generation hispanic american who does not speak spanish still speak with accent. And what is with spanglish especially with people that don’t actually speak spanish.
