The class I’m in requires we find both fact and opinion on controversial subjects. A friend without internet access recieved the topic: ‘The Litter Syndrome; America’s Population Explosion.’ The topic’s primary question is, Why do so many Americans refuse to plan their families when overpopulation is evident and low-cost or free birth control(abortion excluded)is available? Second question, Under these conditions, what time frame is anticipated before municipal structures crush under the weight of so many families having 4,5,6 or more children? No, this is not a joke or a poor attempt at sarcasm…these are real issues that the instructor wants serious research done on. I recommended ‘Y’ to the entire class for their opinion gathering
