I have been trying to learn about more about Mormonism through a friend’s desire and am attempting to read and understand the thoughts of the Book of Mormons. However, as I am only on the first chapter, I have come across many questions. The one most concerning at this moment is in (Nephi, 7:4). There is the mention of a character and I have not been able to identify him. Who is Ishmael? I would termendously appreciate an adequate response to this. Ever so much thanks.
