I plan to go through medical school within the next two to three years. I am without a mate and am afraid that if I meet and marry someone who is not African American, I will be looked upon as a typical ‘brotha’ who made it and then shunned his ‘sistas,’ when that would not be the case at all. Should I make extra efforts to be with a woman of color, or should finding true love in any form be my No. 1 priority?
