I am interested in knowing Black Americans opinions on how slavery and/or discrimination has affected their lives? I know this sounds quite broad, however, at times I feel that slavery, discrimination and racism are often used as a ‘crutch’ to support reasons why Blacks continue to suffer from more poverty, crime, and imprisonment than that of whites. Are Blacks angered when other Blacks blame the majority of their difficulties on racism?
