While walking down the sidewalk ‘economy class,’ I am often unapologetically bumped into by Asians, specifically. Why does this happen, and how may I prevent it?

I heard that in most Asian cultures, standing or walking a respectable distance from a person (what we call personal space) is actually rude and impolite. So as a result, it’s considered common courtesy to position yourself close to others. Completely the opposite in the US, where of course, it’s rude to be all up in a person’s face!

Maybe they have a narrower range of sight caused by their slanted eyes?
