Steve27677ParticipantI have noticed a lot of posts from Helsinki, Finland, to Y Forum lately. All good questions and comments, I might add. However, is there something going on here? Is this a class project, or has Y Forum received some media attention in Finland lately to trigger this? Or are Finns just naturally good, curious Internet diversity-type people?

Hanna21411ParticipantI found the site because of a story in Helsingin Sanomat, which is the most important newspaper in Finland, so I think you were right regarding the media attention. I believe Finns are naturally intelligent people, so that’s why we have the ability to ask smart questions – and maybe at the same time we are somewhat strange enough to end up at this kind of site…

TuijaMemberY Forum has gotten some publicity in a popular newspaper here in Finland. So we curious Finnish people just want to explore this cool site. Of course, because of that newspaper article, the word has spread around coffee tables and in Finnish web communities.

MinnaParticipantThere was a story about Y Forum in Finland’s biggest newspaper, Helsingin Sanomat, last week. That might explain the recent popularity of this site among Finns. The Internet is also very widely used here in Finland.
