I’ve noticed a large amount of American public sentimentality. Anytime someone dies accidentally, the spot gets covered in photos, teddybears, flowers, poems, etc., even if they people leaving the stuff didn’t know the person at all. I see this all over tv (ads, the home makeover show). Why are Americans so sappy?
