To advocates of same-sex marriages: Many people believe the government shouldn’t prevent these marriages between consenting adults. Should the government also prevent marriages between consenting adults who are siblings? (Assume they are incapable of reproducing.) If yes, why?

I hate the way people catergorize homosexuality and incest as the same difference, because it isn’t. However, I do think that if consenting adults want to marry, then why not? I find it difficult to believe that people in general are going to want to marry their siblings or it would be happening all the time anyway. The main problem stems from the congenital birth defects that tend to occur with inbreeding, not to mention having to explain to your child why mommy and daddy have the same grandparents.
