Why do so many Americans (and not only) have the impression that Romanians are related to Russians? Actually, Romanians are a Latin people (related to French, Italian, Spanish)and at present they don’t even share a border with Russia. This confussion is very annoying for me because the relations between Romania and Rusia haven’t been really friendly (especially from the historical point of view).
