KiloMemberThe southern United States has a bad reputation for being racist (I.E. KKK) I’ve been all over the country north, south, east, and west. in a few towns in the south and the midwest i did feel some racial tension, but for the most part i found that southerners were the friendliest people in the entire country, both black and white alike. I am from New England. I find people in the northeast to be the rudest in the nation. I currently reside in boston and i have lived here my entire life. Boston is the MOST segregated city i have ever been in and i feel very uncomfortable in the white neighborhoods here. people have racial comments to me at red lights while im stopped in my car. My sister was called a ‘nigger spic’ by some girls at her school. My family and i have done alot of traveling in our life time and i have stayed in the south for months. only in New England we’ve been treated this way. Why does the northeast have this reputation of being such a diverse liberal society, when infact it is the exact opposite? Has anybody else noticed how inconsiderate people are up here?
