Okay, We’re not looking for dictionary references, because they often contradict eachother. We are just drunk and curious how different people differentiate between racism and prejudice. We know that some people say that prejudice is the thought and racism is acting that thought out, but, hypothetically, if I was to hate all other races and view mine as superior, would that make me a racist even if I never explicitly acted on it (i.e. knowingly did not hire somebody because of their race)? Is it possible to be prejudice and not act on it in any way for your entire life? If it is not, than is prejudice a term that is mostly meaningless? If I implicitly treat those of other races differently, am I racist or prejudice? How the hell do you define these things? thanks.
