I do not understand why some african american people feel it is necessary to refer to each other as NI**ER. I am deeply troubled by the frequent use of this word by some young african Americans. I think this word is very troubling and has a very hurtful past. It seems that I hear it used more and more and I dont think its right. To me, it seems like african american people who use this word frequently are disrespecting themselves and I want to know why it is so frequently used. Furthermore, I would wish that this word not b used in the future. It is an awful word and should not even be used in jest.
