Our grocery store is in a predominately white, (probably 90%) neighborhood. More than 50% of the shoppers at my small food store are black. They drive eight to ten miles to shop at this store, when they have the same store, larger and newer, in their own neighborhood. Can anyone explain this?

BrittanyParticipantFirst how the hell do you know how far they are travelling? Lol. There are Blacks in predominantly white neighborhoods..just because you can’t see them..and from experience when I shop in stores that are placed in predominantly white neighborhoods..the supply is of more quality. For example the produce section will have the fresher vegetables and fruits. With the clothing stores..you all may have all the name brands whereas we will just have DKNY versus Donna Karen….whether its larger or not the quality is always better..
