RobinMemberHow do women eliminate pubic hair – not from the bikini line, but the hair that surrounds the genitalia? Is there a permanent way to remove it?

Lucy R.ParticipantTo the best of my knowledge the only permanent way to remove pubic hair (or any hair for that matter) is through electrolysis, an expensive and time-consuming process done only by licensed and certified professionals. Check your Yellow Pages. It may be difficult to find someone whose professional policies include working near a person’s genitalia.

TracyMemberYou can get hair removed by lasers now, although I’m not sure they would deal with such a sensitive area. I don’t believe you could have electrolysis done in the pubic area, either. Shaving would probably be your best option, but shave down or you get those nasty little bumps.

PVParticipantI think the question refers to hair around the vaginal entrance and the labia, farther down from the ‘triangle.’ What would be the best way to remove this? Perhaps hair removal cream could be used. Using a razor sounds very dangerous!

mikeParticipantMy wife had the laser treatment on her bush. Not only did it take care of cleaning up the triangle area but it took care of all areas around her vagina down to her anus. I went with her and she said the only issue she had was the laser was cold to her down their.
