Seamus28238ParticipantI’ve noticed that whenever a White person makes a generalised perception of Black people on Y? Forum(or any people of colour) they’re always mistaken and acting out of their own racist mindset. However, when generalised perceptions are made constantly about White people by Black people it’s considered keen insight by people who somehow know us. Why is this? Did God bless Black people with an innate sense of White feelings, which I, a White man for basically all of my life, do not feel? I take the piss of course, but something’s got to give. Some Black people who complain about White stereotyping when they themselves happily engage in the same ego-defining stereotypes really need a reality check and should break themselves out of their narrow mindsets. And, of course, since ALL White people do the same, they should also free their mind.
