LazarusMemberA medically trained person should be able to provide the best answer, but I suspect it is due to something like the penis containing a much greater concentration of blood vessels and what I would call ‘blood-bearing tissue.’ This would especially be true when the penis is erect.

VictoriaMemberI’m not sure, but I’d think because the skin is thinner, and during an erection the penis is filled with blood, giving it a darker color.
