Some of my co-workers were from the Phillipines. After I had my baby and came back to work, one man sat down with me in the breakroom, congratulated me, and asked if I was breastfeeding. He talked about how good it was for the baby and even offered to have his wife make me a home remedy cream if I was having pain. This kind of openness is not normal for American men, and I wasn’t sure if it was cultural or if this guy is just less than discreet all on his own.
