Why do people think all Texans own horses and live on ranches? Why do people think Texas is nothing but a big desert? I’ve even seen children’s books and cartoons depicting a Texas landscape as looking like Monument Valley (Back to the Future III did the same thing to California). Why does everyone think Texans are all cowpokes or that we are prideful or vain? Most Texans live in suburbia and are pretty darn average.
