I’m an African-American woman who, for the most part, dates interracially. Why does there seem to be a double standard placed on African-American women who date white men, but none for African-American men who date white women?

In response to Sara’s question about the white women and black men being more taboo, i dont really agree. At least in the black community it is pretty much accepted but for a white man and black woman in the black community, she is seen as being a traitor. Or as not black. I personally dont care who strangers date. Maybe its just that women will be criticized but their own communities, white women the white community and black women the black than men, cause men rule the world, all of them not just white men, i think
