Vanessa24516ParticipantI have a quick question about Islamic religion. I have a friend, Yamenah, who is Muslim and lives in America. She dresses like a normal 17 year old American girl, acts like a normal 17 year old American girl. You know, she paints her nails, wears makeup, shops at GAP, and flirts with boys all the time, and her biggest concern is NSYNC. I have another friend, Fatima, who is Muslim and is 18. She dresses with plain dress that she buys at a special store for Muslim dress. She always has her hair covered, and is very reserved. What determines the ‘rules’ so to speak on how as a woman you should act and dress. Why would my one friend dress so plain and be so reserved if she didnt have to? Or is my other friend just a little wild for her religion?
