A recent mob attack in Milwaukee of kids as young as 10 against a homeless man drew national attention. Had this murder been a crime of white youths attacking a black man rather than black youths against a black man, the entire black community would have been up in arms. Why then did this horrendous crime not generate furor within the black community on a national or local level? And if it did, what was and is being done about it, if anything?

If it were a group of white youths, the crime could have been race-motivated, and then it would make sense for the black community to band together. Something like this should upset all races because it’s a crime against humanity, not blacks.

Not everything is racial motivated,, get a grip..

Sometimes the news does not reach all the parts of the US. For example, my roommate from Pennsylvania never heard of the Amadou Diallo shooting in New York, in which four white cops shot an unarmed black man, and she’s black herself.

I live here, and yes it was reported nationally, CNN, Fox, and MSNBC. So what cave are you living in? And my community is up at arms over this. This is a problem all over our country, and not just in the African- American communities. When I was growing up, I could go just about anywhere and didn’t have to worry about getting shot. Also, back then parents weren’t restricted on how best to disapline their children. Todays society allow this to happen, now we as a country have to suffer. We need change in some of our laws. I feel for that man’s family and those boys and their families.
