The verdict seems to be that the term ‘white trash’ isn’t a candidate for censorship in the media. Yet no respectable media source would dare mention references to ‘black trash’, ‘Latino trash, ‘Jewish trash’, or even – in my case -‘Australian trash’. Why the double standard?
