I have come across masculine women who are strong minded, independent, without the feminine frills, yet at the core retaining their essence as women. They do not fit into the class of ‘girl power’ girls, or the women of cosmopolitan magazine who ultimately are sexual objects. Is this an emerging character trait, an ‘alternative’ character trait, or only the trait of women who have studied feminism?
