I want your opinion on this. The Latin Grammy first seemed interesting to me, a separate show. It’s nice to have your own show (should be in Spanish anyway). Though thinking about it deeply, it seemed kinda separatist, ethnitist (can’t say racist because Latinos are of all races). It reminded me of the American Bandstand-Soul Train days. American ‘black’ music (Rap, Soul, R&B) is now part of the Grammys, as blacks are a part of America. Is it because it became popular in ‘mainstream’ (white) America? I now believe the Latin Grammys should not exist, and just be a part of the Grammys, as millions of latinos(black, brown and white) are just a part of America too.
