I work in an inner-city school as a janitor. The students urinate on the toilet paper, floor, walls, heaters and sinks. They also defecate in the urinals, sinks and on the floor. The stall walls and doors are often torn from mountings and fixtures are destroyed. Chewing gum is ground into the carpets, mirrors and windows spit on, and litter is dropped where it was created. I asked the school psychologist about the situation and she said it was a social economic problem, but did not have time to talk about it. After providing free breakfast, free lunch and free everything else, why do these students act like this? What drives the behavior? The other janitors tell me just wait until I get into a junior high or high school, it only gets worse.
