Why does the black community support and endorse Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton? Both engage in racially bias rhetoric and rarely promote a positive image of the black community. If I were a black man, I would rather have leaders (nationally recognized) that foster a positive message and image. It seems that when I see and hear these men I get the feeling of the old ‘divide and conquer’ tactic. Image is everything, and Al Sharpton appears to be to ‘black’, unable to break from the ‘we are victims’ mentality. Larry Elder?
