Is racism really only a one-way street?

Hey everybody. I’ve heard a lot of comments from African American individuals complaining about other individuals around them being racist, such as ‘You don’t like me cause I’m black, don’t you???’. In addition, it is also very obvious to the common eye that the hip-hop culture and style are very popular these days, everywhere. Including music, such as hip-hop and rap, and clothing style, such as big pants hanging extremely low showing the guy’s boxers and so forth. My question is, then, why is it that if an African American person dresses and displays public signs of admiration towards hip-hop music, he’s considered ‘cool’, but when a person other than African American, for example – one of a Latino descent, dresses the same way and likes the same music, he’s considered a ‘wannabe’/’pathetic’/’copycat’, or most offensive to the gay community, in my opinion, a ‘fag’? Why is it that in many cases individuals who are just not into the hip-hop culture are clamied to be ‘racist’, but as soon as a person does like to dress this way and to listen to the same kind of music, and he is not black, he’s a ‘loser’? Thanks to anyone who responds.
