While I’ve generally been amused by ‘slash’ fan fiction (in which straight male characters from books or movies are paired together in homoerotic relationships), I’ve always thought it showed tolerance for gays. However, I’ve heard others (straight) describe it as homophobic. What do gay people think of slash?
