Given CMemberHi, I personally think that the stance that white people have taken over the years towards blacks makes one wonder whether whites are after all that intelligent? To be honest blacks are not stupid people, they are not all that society has portrayed them to be. It’s just that society can make or break individuals as well as groups. In this regard we, a lot of blacks would feel the same way, are rather victims of such a society. It is sad and makes life just not worthy living; we are indeed victims of circumstances. The sad bit is there is very little one can do about it, so perhaps we just have to try and make the best out the messy we have found ourselves in! Given

M. HollowellParticipantHow do you think one might feel to be called degrading names, chased down like a criminal (past and present day). To be turned down for a job or housing because the white man don’t want you around or make you feel you’re not good or smart enough. To always be made to feel that you are less of a human being. To forever be taunted just because of the color of your skin. Can YOU even imagine how one might feel? This is only minor compared to the rest of history.

Kendall26449ParticipantMost feel very negatively about it. So many people massacred, robbed, raped, cultures stolen… for so long. Not a good thing.
