How do you tactfully uncover a new partner’s past sexual history when deciding upon whethr or not to use a condom with them or simply the pill. If someone has been in a 3 year monogamous relationship, is it safe to assume they are pretty much in the clear>? Obviously condoms are the safest and only preventitive to Aids and other STD’s but every couple comes to a point in a relationship, as months and months roll by when they decide to forgo the condoms, my question really asks when is the right time and what are the answers I should be listeining for from my new partner when making the decision to stop using condoms?
