PalmerParticipantWhat do most straight people really think when you hear or read about gay people attempting to advance our civil rights – including reducing stereotypes and discrimination, passing legislation that protects gay people from discrimination in employment, etc.?

LizzyParticipantI say more power to ya! I’ve always thought it makes no sense for companies and schools to make a long list of people they will not discriminate against and then leave gays off of that list. Blacks, Asians, women and disabled people have all received positive responses, and yet gays are still shunned. It’s really unfair. Of course I don’t speak for everyone – especially Christians.

A MotherParticipantI respect all people who try to do the right thing, and trying to get equal rights under the law is the best way to stop most people from treating gays like leppers.
