How come the hottest-looking models are always from foreign countries?

There may seem to be a lot of models from foreign countries, but that’s probably because the most models you see are from things like the Victoria’s Secret Angels ‘team’. But we have plenty of American supermodels, too, who probably just aren’t as well-known or as much in the spotlight as they used to be. Here’s a few: Tyra Banks, Cindy Crawford, Nikki Taylor, Kim Alexis, Rebecca Romijn, Frankie Rayder, Marissa Miller, etc. One reason it may seem that there are so many foreign-born models is that the fashion capitals of the world are primarily in Europe — Paris, Milan, Rome, London, Barcelona, etc.

Who says they’re foreign? You can’t tell whether or not someone is American by how they look. American is not an ethnicity.

Supply and demand. Import vs. domestic. In a purely market-driven economy, even the hot models are more attractive simply because they come from somewhere other than America. Truthfully, the foreign models are quite hideous and must be air brushed to hide the multiple flaws. The term ‘coyote ugly’ applies to models from other countries.

Maybe they’re the hottest, but maybe those foreign models just seem hot to you because they look more exotic than corn-fed U.S. models. I’m not sure what those foreign beauties eat (not much?) but I don’t think corn is a staple of their diet. But anyway, back to the exotic part. I think the foreign models look a bit different since they tend to have a certain ethnic look vs. the U.S models that are often a combination of many nationalites as their forefather’s sperm was diluted over time. Kinda like a purebred dog vs. a mutt. For the record I’m not calling these models bitches, although they often can be due to the treatment they are accustomed to receiving.
