I live in a small town that has a very high number of male Mexican immigrants living here. These men tend to make what I consider to be very lewd and sexual comments to women. It doesn’t seem to matter if I am with my husband, just as it didn’t matter years ago that I was very young. I have been told this attitude toward women is accepted in their culture. Is this true? And if so, why can’t they understand that it is not acceptable in this culture?
