    What are the possible reasons for a heart attack in a young man of 17, who is physically fit and not on drugs.

    Rare, but possible. I think there was a famous basketball player who died of one. If there’s a history of heart attack in your family, be sure to tell your doctor. They recommend you take one baby aspirin (with food) each day to prevent a heart attack. Just Curious

    Happens all the time, but less so now that medical technology is better. Unless the man in question was fasting, sweating, working out to lose weight (as a boxer or wrestler might), chances are he was just sitting on a time bomb that finally went off.
