I’ve been wondering why do people become gynaecologists. I’ve assumed some men may be keen to have an occupation that involves dealing with naked women, but I’ve also heard male medical students say the gynageological rounds are not as glamorous as you might think (not all women look desirable to them). So what makes a person develop an academic interest in the female genitalia?
