As the son of a Jewish mom, I experienced a lot of guilt growing up. From what I’ve heard and read, making their sons or daughters feel guilty seems to be characteristic of Jewish moms. If this is so, why is it? I would like to understand this better so I could better understand the way I am today, and some choices I’ve made.
