Why are Hispanics considered minorities? It certainly can’t be skin color. Italians and Greeks often have darker – or similarly dark – features, yet they are usually considered ‘white.’ Why is it that a person with Spanish roots is a ‘person of color,’ but an Italian or Greek person is ‘white’?
