If God is better than us in every way, why does he have no moral problem sending billions of his children to burn in eternal pain?

Here’s what I believe. God made us in His image to love and serve Him. He gave us free will and choice to pursue Him or to pursue worldly gains. God wants us to choose Him, but does not force Himself on us. To me, hell is the absence of God, not necessarily a specific place.

Someone with Judeo-Christian beliefs might say because He also gave us free will to sin or be righteous. Given that religion is a man-made construct, I would say that this is simply one of the many inconsistencies. This is why it’s difficult for rational people to believe in god, hell or heaven for that matter.

if god does exist, then he has all the faults that an average human does, at least in my opinion. dont forget that the bible calls god a “jealous” god, thereby proving that god is somewhat flawed. as for the question about hell, i guess that he has no real problem with sending people and unbaptised babies to hell.

god is not kind or loving, he is an evil, despotic anti-gay racist. God has no moral dilemma with sensing the innocent go to eternal damnation. The throne of god is made of the skulls of gays and unbaltized babies. This is what I KNOW.

God doesn’t like to send people to Hell. The Bible is very clear that He desires all to be saved. However, for those that don’t believe and /or reject Him, they will go to hell. To reject God is to embrace the opposite: Satan. that means hell

I cannot answer this for 1 reason that Atheists, Agnostics, and Christians can agree with. Lets say, just for the sake of argument, God is bigger and mightier, with vast knowledge since the birth of our universe. How can I, or anyone for that matter claim they know what He is truly thinking and what his plan is. That being said I would like to discuss something that pains me truly. So many people are quick to judge and accuse when it comes to Christianity, and in my opinion its usually because they have had serious problems and run-ins with the extreme representatives. I don’t feel like someone without any prior knowledge or experience with religion can pick up the Bible, read it, and set it down accusing God and trying to lessen him. If you don’t believe in religion I’m actually glad, assuming you made that choice free from both good and bad influences. I choose to have and put my faith in Him, and I will never force you to love, or even acknowledge him, and all I ask, atleast for all those like me, let us make our own choices and follow our own beliefs without you forcing your ideas down our throats like evangelical, extreme Atheists.

Depending on the child’s age God keeps that in mind. If that child had no means of being able to learn about God and accept God into his heart and fully understand the meaning of salvation an what it means to excpet God into your heart then God allows that child to enter in to heaven. But if that child had the chance to except salvation and did not take that oppurtunity then that is when God makes his judgement as to where that child will be cast.
