I wonder if anyone shares my fears and concerns for the ever increasing state of depravity of humanity. It may be my imagination, but it seems to me that since 9/11 the world is escalating toward self-destruction. Between killing, bombing, maiming, hating, prejudice, threats of nuclear warheads, kidnappings, the disgracing of millions by the actions of priests, scams against elderly people, and more than anything else, the depraved sexual exploitation of babies and children…..I can’t sleep at night without these horrible images coming into my dreams. I guess my question is ‘have we finally reached the end’? I can’t imagine things being any worse and have lost hope that it will get better. I feel so helpless to change anything.
