Felching is not swallowing one’s own semen. Technically, it can be explained as the insertion of a cardboard (or similar) tube into the rectum, into which a small rodent or similar mammal is inserted. The person then somehow receives pleasure because this rodent is running around in their colon. Yes, this is felching, believe it or not. And yes, people actually do this. Nope, it gets worse . . . Felching is sucking the semen out of the vagina or anus after ejaculation – often done with a straw. I’m pretty sure it developed in the ’70s, at least in the gay scene. In the more health-conscious post-AIDS environment, felching (which is probably not that high a risk for HIV) is now pretty uncommon, being a great way to catch giardia and other gastro-intestinal parasites.

My understanding of felching is that it refers to the sucking of semen out of the rectum after anal sex, rather than the more general consumption of semen you refered to. I can’t imangine that it is a very common practice.

Putting an animal into the rectum? My God! I saw it on South Park, but assumed it must have been derived from an urban legend. I find it very hard to believe people do such things in a sober state of mind. Drunken, yes, I suppose they might try something stupid like that.
