Why is it that a black female will never walk up or down an escalator? I have gone back to school as a full time student and the escalators at the collee I attend are only wide enough for one person. Most people walk up and down with the escalators, particularly when running late to class. If the line is at a stand still it is always because there is a black woman at the head simply sanding there, allowing the escalator to transport her. I have asked both males and females of different races about this. They have noticed it also, but have no knowlegde of why it happens.
