I have always wondered how prosecutors feel when they help send innocent folks to death row. Once I asked a Dallas attorney with the D.A.’s office if she ever had misgivings and she said, ‘Hell, no, I just won my first death penalty case and I’m walking on air. If he’s sitting in that chair,(at the defendant’s table), he’s guilty. They’re all a bunch of scumbags, I wish we still had the electric chair.’ I’m hoping that I get more sober thoughtful answers in this forum.
