R.W.K.ParticipantDo folks who have been blind since birth have dreams? If so, are the dreams similar to those of people who can see, or are they based on sound?

Rick19504ParticipantThis has been covered in the book “I Can’t Believe You Asked That!”. However, one of my relatives is blind (and has cerebral palsy, which prevents me from confirming the following due to her rather underdeveloped vocabulary) and I’ve read many times that those who are blind from birth dream mostly in other senses, most notably sound and smell. Because most of them have only very little perception in light, I would assume they don’t really dream in sight at all.

KelParticipantI think that even though a person may be blind, they are still capable of dreaming, and that they do dream. I’m sure they sit there quite often dreaming of what they can’t see.
