Why is it that i rarely see Christians from more ‘temperate’ or ‘middle of the road’ or ‘private’ practices and beliefs, denouncing the extremists in their midsts. When Jimmy Swagart JUST came out and said that ‘he would kill a gay man, then tell god he died’ – why did Christians who are good people not take him to task openly. As an atheist/pagan, i find it frustrating to keep from lumping all Christians together, when they do not make attempts to say ‘not all of us feel the way these extremists do’.
